Students will return on Monday, January 5, 2026.

The Hub Centre will be open on Dec 22 & 23 for working parents, call to confirm your child.

Wiikwemkoong Junior School Fire Alarm UPDATE

UPDATE: The Wiikwemkoong Junior School fire alarm went off around 12:15 PM. This prompted staff to follow their fire drill procedures. This alarm was triggered due to a mechanical error with our ventilation system. The Wiikwemkoong Fire Department was called and after they vented the area they gave the all-clear for students to return to class. At no point was student safety compromised. Miigwech to our staff for acting quickly to ensure all students were dressed appropriately. Miigwech to the Wiikwemkoong Fire Department for their quick response. Miigwech.
