School Closed for Truth & Reconciliation Day

Please be advised that all Wiikwemkoong Board of Education schools and offices will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This day honours the survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, and their families and communities. It is a time for reflection, learning, and recognizing the ongoing journey toward truth and reconciliation.

Classes will resume on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
