Overview

The Mino-Bimaadiziwin Program is a new 5-Year project within the Wiikwemkoong Board of Education that began in 2021. The program is committed to the betterment of student experiences within the Pontiac & High School. The 3 main components of the program are Culturally Adapted Interventions, Case Management, and Family Support. The program will help build the student's wellness bundles to increase social and emotional well-being that can ultimately lead to increased academic success. There are 3 branches of services that the program will provide: 
 
School Mental Health 
Provides services for students in grade 4-12.
Student Success
Provides services for students in grade 4-12.
Program Workers
Provide fun, safe, recreational, life-long learning activities for the students of the Junior & Pontiac school that occurs before and after school hours.
